Just as a matter of interest to the landlord/lady, in 1896 my husband's gx3 grandfather, Francis Wilson, was giving his horse water in the pub stables, when it rammed him into the stable wall and fractured his skull. He died shortly afterwards. He is buried in Kirkburn (East Yorkshire) churchyard.
