Have been twice in last 3 months for a meal. The food in the carvery was awful. Turkey on menu but none left. The vegetables were all dried up and just what was left in bottom of dishes. The meat was tough and gristly. The chef's overall was rather soiled. My cutlery was dirty. The worst meal I have ever had. It has seriously gone downhill - obvious also from the lack of customers. Felt like it was thrown together with no care or pride at all.

Went there for Sunday Luch recently.

Looks as if it's a self-service buffet/carvery, but it's NOT! The food was perfectly acceptable. No opportunity for seconds: when I courteously checked with she who was the acting-manager/ess at the bar, then I was given a look of abject horror. Was just waiting for her to say thet ...you don't look as if you NEED more! Felt like Oliver Twist asking for "more"!

Micro-Brewery beer from nearby was fine, but having beeing given "the flick" on my first visit ...then am not in a great hurry to return.
